About the Role
Seasonal Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate strong team relationships, contribute to shop excellence in sales and operations, and consistently surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales by exceeding goals and contributing to overall store sales.
- Deliver a world-class customer experience by connecting with customers, identifying needs, and demonstrating product benefits.
- Educate customers on brand values including Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging.
- Host store parties and other initiatives to drive traffic and engagement.
- Expand product knowledge and stay up-to-date on products, ingredients, and benefits to make informed recommendations.
- Utilize Lush resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Encourage open communication and actively listen to team members' perspectives on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
- Foster a sense of belonging by promoting teamwork, collaboration, and valuing employee contributions.
- Be punctual, reliable, and present at work, participating in teamwork and taking necessary breaks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Make real-time adjustments to product displays based on sales to improve customer experience.
- Ensure practice of company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience working in skincare or cosmetics
- Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
