About the Role
Pain Specialists of America (PSA) is seeking a Licensed Practitioner to manage health problems and coordinate patient care in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and nursing standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical exams and patient observations.
- Record patient medical histories and symptoms.
- Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans.
- Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests.
- Detect changes in a patient’s health and change treatment plans as necessary.
- Administer medicines and treatments.
- Evaluate responses to treatments and medications.
- Consult with healthcare professionals.
- Train patients and families on managing pain.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
- RN licensure in Texas.
- Board certified by either ANCC or AANP.
- Prior experience working with pain management patients is preferred but is not required.
