About the Role

Join one of the fastest-growing organizations within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and help customers of all industries and sizes gain the best value and service from AWS. As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will be the principal technical advisor and ‘voice of the customer’ to organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises. You will help craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services, provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance, and proactively keep customer AWS environments operationally healthy.

Responsibilities

  • Help craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services.
  • Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
  • Proactively keep customer AWS environments operationally healthy.
  • Understand customer business/operational needs and technical challenges to help them achieve the greatest value from AWS.
  • Work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff.
  • Adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
  • 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars and ability to properly apply them to existing or new customer architecture, implementations, and/or solutions.
  • Experience applying technical or operational expertise to identify, balance trade-offs, and solve difficult challenges.

  • San Francisco: $176,600.00 - $239,000.00 USD annually
  • Austin: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
  • Seattle: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
