About the Role
Join AWS as a Solutions Architect specializing in the healthcare sector. You will help healthcare organizations solve technical challenges and advance the medical and healthcare fields by leveraging AWS cloud services. This role involves understanding customer needs, designing optimal architectures, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in driving the adoption of cloud technologies in healthcare, improving patient outcomes, and reducing the burden on medical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Focus on healthcare organizations (hospitals, clinics, etc.) and electronic health record vendors, acting as a technical leader within account teams to promote AWS value and provide optimal architecture proposals and technical support.
- Continuously acquire knowledge of general technologies and AWS technologies, deepen understanding of healthcare-specific security and compliance requirements (guidelines and regulations), and establish yourself as an engineer capable of consulting on technical challenges.
- Promote the potential of the AWS platform to the broader healthcare market through customer case studies, documentation, and presentations at internal and external events.
- Drive further improvements and evolution of the AWS platform based on customer feedback.
- Form communities with sales, service development, consulting, support, and partners, lead the team technically, and formulate technical account strategies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in development, architecture, consulting, or system proposal/construction activities.
- Proactive in acquiring knowledge of new technologies and services, and in taking on new challenges.
- Experience responding to RFIs/RFPs for large-scale projects and creating proposals, or experience creating RFIs/RFPs.
- Experience in a wide range of activities with healthcare clients, including technical pre-sales, consultation, requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency.
- Basic ability to read technical documents written in English and basic English writing skills for technical matters.
