About the Role
Anheuser-Busch is seeking a Safety Manager to support the Newburgh MCC Can Plant, focusing on Environmental and Safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Create and review strategic training plans for site team members and leadership, focusing on upskilling employees and aligning with corporate guidelines.
- Ensure ownership and integration to drive sustainable EHS management systems.
- Provide effective training on relevant topics, including creating presentation materials and public speaking.
- Develop EHS improvement initiatives and manage daily EHS operations.
- Advise the senior management team on EHS strategic objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Direct investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective measures for environmental non-compliance incidents.
- Represent the facility to external regulatory agencies.
- Compile EHS information and data as required by regulatory agencies.
- Complete reports and inspections required by regulatory agencies.
- Conduct assessments of regulatory impacts and EHS risks for project and process changes.
- Identify unsafe behaviors and conditions using regulatory requirements and best safety practices.
- Contribute to the overall needs and objectives of the site.
- Facilitate team building and involve employees and leadership in the EHS process.
Requirements
- 3 years of safety/environmental experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to collaboratively work with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work any and all shifts and provide ‘on-call’ coverage outside work hours and some weekends and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Comfort level with change and ability to lead change.
- Working knowledge of government regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements (federal, state and provincial) and apply them to the workplace.
- Effective decision making and willingness to use available resources to accomplish goals.
- Acts with integrity in all EHS matters to maintain EHS compliance and excellence.
- Ability to lead teams and facilitate effective meetings.
- Investigative, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Computer Skills – Microsoft Office.

Salary/Compensations
- $106,400 - $126,350
