About the Role
The Bell Attendant will provide outstanding hospitality services, assisting guests with luggage, transportation, and other needs, serving as a key point of contact during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure.
- Provide guests with local area information and directions.
- Arrange guest transportation to and from the hotel.
- Assist guests with luggage to and from their rooms.
- Deliver requested items to guest rooms.
- Ensure public areas meet hotel standards.
- Restock public area supplies and manage trash removal.
- Greet all encountered guests with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the local area is highly preferred.
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to perform continuous physical movements, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds, with occasional movement of up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift.
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude and a hands-on approach.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for days, nights, holidays, and weekends as required by the hotel.
