About the Role
This role involves assembling food items and preparing meal trays according to detailed airline specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards in a high-volume production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble food items and prepare meal trays according to detailed airline specifications.
- Arrange hot meals, cold meals, salads, snacks, bread, butter, condiments, and other required components.
- Ensure all trays are assembled accurately and meet established quality, portion, and presentation standards.
- Follow airline requirements and company procedures to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction.
- Comply with all hygiene and food safety regulations outlined in the Food Safety Management System handbook.
- Report food safety, product quality, or operational concerns to the line manager and Hygiene and Food Safety team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout the shift.
- Support team members as needed to maintain an efficient production flow and complete tasks on time.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a high-volume food production or assembly environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently and meet strict production deadlines.
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to read and follow written instructions related to food handling and tray assembly.
- Strong commitment to food safety, cleanliness, quality, and accuracy.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
