About the Role
SERVPRO Team Allen is hiring a Crew Chief to lead water and fire damage mitigation jobs across NYC. You will lead the crew on-site, set up drying equipment, ensure the job stays on track, and provide excellent customer care. This role offers growth opportunities for individuals experienced in the trade.
Responsibilities
- Run mitigation jobs from start to finish
- Lead techs on-site and assign daily work
- Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and drying equipment
- Handle water extraction, demolition, and cleanup
- Take moisture readings and track drying progress
- Document jobs with photos and notes
- Maintain a clean and organized truck and jobsite
- Communicate with customers and keep them informed
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergencies
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in water mitigation or construction
- Comfortable leading a crew
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and wear a respirator
- Good written and verbal communication skills
