About the Role
The Operations Manager will lead and direct the overall day-to-day operations of DTJ Design, providing oversight and support to administrative staff and remote offices. This role manages the Contracts Administration process and collaborates closely with firm leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manages the Contracts Administration process, including reviewing, tracking, editing, and formatting contracts.
- Recommends and performs edits to contracts to protect DTJ Design’s interests.
- Ensures executed contracts are shared with appropriate parties and stored correctly.
- Oversees Harbor compliance process for Company Business Licenses and Individual Professional Licenses.
- Manages facilities for offices, including lease management, capital project planning, employee space planning, and liaison with property management and realtors.
- Manages or assists in purchasing activities for supplies and facility needs.
- Discovers and evaluates opportunities to create initiatives that further the company’s goals.
- Coordinates diverse teams to foster an exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities.
- Identifies potential problems and points of friction to find solutions that maximize efficiency and revenue.
- Contributes operational information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
- Develops, implements, enforces, and evaluates policies and procedures.
- Oversees large equipment contract needs and maintenance.
- Analyzes and improves organizational processes, workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Serves as primary liaison with utilities and local government agencies.
- Manages relationships with key operations vendors.
- Tracks vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels.
- Works closely with HR and leadership team to set and implement policies, procedures, and systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Technically savvy with demonstrated knowledge of best practices in a corporate environment.
- Ability to interface with all staff levels.
- Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
- Extensive knowledge of operations and business management.
- Ability to interpret financial data to set production or efficiency goals.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Strong commitment to the company’s mission and values.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field (preferred).
Salary/Compensations
- $70,000 - $85,000 annually
