About the Role
This role offers a great opportunity to build a career within a World Wide leader in tech, working onsite at a state-of-the-art Corporate Caffe. It's an excellent entry point into the Food Service industry with potential to advance to Prep Cook.
Responsibilities
- Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment in a timely manner.
- Assist with cleaning, stocking, and lifting items in other areas as requested.
- Ensure dishes are restocked accordingly.
- Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
- May step in as line servers when the Caffe gets busy.
Requirements
- Approved Food Handler’s Card and non-slip shoes prior to first day of work.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic level knowledge of health and safety rules.
- Demonstrable high level of customer service is mandatory.
- Highly organized, ability to switch between locations and job duties.
- Ability to work with and serve a diverse workforce.
- Ability to stand 100% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume experience.
- Comfortable with environmental exposure to cold, heat, and water in kitchens and restaurants.
Skills
- 1 Year of experience in customer service or high volume food service.
- 1 year of dishwasher experience preferred.
- Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
- Ability to read and write to facilitate communication.
- Ability to correctly follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of conduct and confidentiality.
- Willingness to continually grow in knowledge.
- Proactive in seeking new training opportunities.
