About the Role
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program. This role involves facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and fun environment, and supporting program operations. It's ideal for individuals who love working with children and seek a schedule aligned with the school day.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities including fitness, STEAM, academic, and art, as well as homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children.
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children.

- Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:45 am
- Afternoon Program: 3:00 - 6:00 pm

Salary/Compensations
- $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
