About the Role
Seeking a Service Technician I for a 387-unit newly constructed apartment community in South Austin. This role involves turning vacant units into move-in ready apartments and maintaining property grounds and common areas. The company values teamwork and offers opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
- Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
- Walking the property grounds and common areas as well as picking up trash and debris.
- Performing any additional duties assigned by both the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of previous maintenance experience on an apartment community, commercial building, or single-family residences.
- Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
- Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call every 3 weeks for emergencies.
- Valid TX Driver’s License.
- Application process includes criminal background checks and drug screens.
Skills
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) a plus!
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!
