About the Role
The Store Leader is the heart and soul of the store, responsible for executing merchandising and marketing initiatives, driving profitability, developing the store team, and ensuring excellent customer service. Many of our top managers started their career in entry-level positions and grew into leadership roles through hard work and our training programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
- Maintain high employee retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Use P&L and store reports to affect change.
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure products are in-stock and the store is presentable.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required with at least one year of retail management experience.
- Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence.
- Automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
- Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred: Word, Excel).
