Operate and maintain the catering truck.
Complete daily truck logs, noting damages and mileage.
Transport and secure food and beverage items, inventory, and equipment to SMG and off-site properties.

Tag, report, and transport inoperable or damaged equipment for repair.
Perform basic repair and maintenance of food and beverage inventory and equipment.

Assist and instruct utility personnel in equipment placement as directed by management.

Transport, set up, and maintain bar locations.
Adhere to the Catering by SMG Recycling Program.
Inform relevant managers of equipment-related problems and inventory shortages.
Assist warehouse and purchasing departments as needed.
Accomplish individually assigned tasks.
Maintain, clean, and sanitize all food service equipment.
Safely operate all equipment used at the location.
Maintain safety, sanitation, and health code standards.
Follow all rules and regulations of Catering by SMG.
Adhere to and follow the written Vehicle Policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned by SMG Management.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operations and equipment.
Must possess a valid California Driver's License with the appropriate class type.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment.
Requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Must be able to follow directions and perform work effectively.
Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.
Must speak and understand English sufficiently for communication with customers, supervisors, and employees.
Must be a member in good standing of the local Union.
Employment is contingent upon providing documents verifying U.S. citizenship or legal permission to work in the U.S.
Final candidates will be required to undergo a background check.
