About the Role

Makeship is seeking a GTM Lead to design and implement strategies for acquiring, converting, growing, and retaining Creators. This foundational, high-visibility role involves proving out approaches through testing and data, and translating them into repeatable systems for the organization. You will work across Partnerships, RevOps, and Marketing, reporting to the VP of Revenue, and own the GTM methodology and journey design as the company expands into new categories and markets.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve GTM methodology across acquisition, conversion, repeat business, expansion, and reactivation.
  • Refine stages, behaviors, decision points, and next-best actions across the Creator journey.
  • Build repeatable approaches for qualification, discovery, pitching, follow-up, negotiation, and re-engagement, adapting them for different Creator segments, verticals, products, and opportunity types.
  • Translate the business model, performance data, Creator outcomes, and capabilities into simple, compelling stories.
  • Build data-led talk tracks and proof points articulating why Makeship, why now, and the right approach for each Creator.
  • Develop and continuously improve decks, case study insights, discovery frameworks, and objection handling.
  • Identify high-value opportunities to improve conversion, velocity, repeat business, and Creator outcomes.
  • Test hypotheses across messaging, sequencing, qualification, follow-up, and journey design.
  • Use performance data and frontline feedback to understand what works, where momentum breaks down, and what to change.
  • Translate GTM strategy and journey design into clear RevOps and business requirements.
  • Own and prioritize the GTM-driven RevOps roadmap based on business impact, defining logic for pipelines, workflows, automation, dashboards, alerts, and reporting.
  • Partner with RevOps through implementation to ensure systems reinforce the intended journey and behaviors.
  • Turn methodology into practical playbooks, templates, talk tracks, examples, and decision guides.
  • Partner with Partnerships leadership to embed new plays and approaches into the team, and evolve enablement based on performance, experimentation, and team feedback.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience designing GTM methodology, sales plays, or customer journey logic for a two-sided business where success depends on both B2B partner engagement and D2C outcomes.
  • A track record of proving new approaches through testing and data, then translating what works into systems and repeatable team behavior.
  • Strong storytelling instincts; ability to turn business performance and data into simple, compelling narratives for field use.
  • Experience partnering with RevOps or a systems/tooling function to translate strategy into pipelines, workflows, automation, and reporting.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills; ability to influence and drive adoption across Partnerships, RevOps, and Marketing without direct authority.
