About the Role
Join Human Longevity Inc. (HLI) as a Senior Medical Assistant in South San Francisco. HLI is redefining healthcare by combining genomics, AI, and big data to build an advanced human health database and unlock new ways to improve health.
Responsibilities
- Be the welcoming voice of HLI, routing calls promptly and efficiently.
- Manage client schedules and appointment follow-ups.
- Coordinate results reviews and post-visit planning with the HLI clinical team.
- Lead the client throughout the HLI clinical visit and coordinate the final wrap-up phase.
- Maintain client privacy with the utmost discretion and integrity.
- Manage both electronic and paper records.
- Track diagnostic kits and specimens.
- Ensure seamless office operations.
- Provide after-hours and weekend assistance as needed.
Requirements
- 5 plus years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in a medical environment.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem-solving and service.
- Independent work ethic with minimal supervision.
Skills
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Phlebotomy Certification (CPT)
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Veradigm
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt to various audiences
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, DocuSign / Adobesign
- Proficiency with macOS
