About the Role
Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking an Equipment Sales Representative to support the Northern New Jersey region. This role offers significant growth opportunities, competitive compensation, and benefits within a company that maintains a family atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Foster the sale of new and used equipment, as well as rental agreements.
- Contribute to team effort by meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
- Perform 50+ customer 'touches' per day.
- Provide superior customer service.
- Prepare daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analysis.
- Establish new relationships within the territory while maintaining and strengthening existing business.
- Responsible for the sale of new and used material handling equipment, as well as rental and leasing agreements.
Requirements
- Prior experience in an Outside Sales role.
- High energy individual with a 'hunter mentality'.
- Results-oriented, self-starter able to work independently.
- Strong competitive drive.
- Ability to build long-lasting relationships.
- Unwavering customer service drive and focus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
