About the Role
DaVita is seeking a Strategic Business Development Leader to drive growth in its Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) dialysis portfolio. This role focuses on building high-impact partnerships with physicians, hospitals, and post-acute providers through various strategic arrangements, aiming to expand access to quality kidney care and achieve disciplined growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the sourcing, structuring, and execution of strategic partnerships to expand DaVita’s SNF dialysis presence.
- Drive acquisition opportunities, medical director agreements, acute service arrangements, joint ventures, and other high-impact partnerships.
- Partner with divisional leadership to shape and execute advanced deal strategies for accelerated growth.
- Own individual DGI performance and related growth targets.
- Cultivate and sustain trusted relationships with nephrologists, hospital leaders, and SNF partners.
- Identify and evaluate incremental physician partners aligned with DaVita’s model.
- Negotiate and secure new hospital and physician agreements.
- Maintain deep knowledge of assigned geographies, including competitive landscape and key providers.
- Gather and synthesize local market intelligence to inform strategic positioning.
- Partner with divisional leadership to shape and execute the three-year growth plan and market strategy.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to Divisional Vice Presidents, providing data-driven ideas.
- Support the development of financial pro formas for partnership opportunities.
- Conduct rigorous business case analysis to assess risk, return, and strategic fit.
- Articulate financial and strategic value propositions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build cross-functional relationships with Operations, Finance, Legal, Clinical, and Strategy teams.
- Influence support functions to improve deal processes.
- Act as a bridge between corporate strategy and local market execution.
- Mentor Senior Business Development Managers, BDMs, and new Regional Operations Directors.
- Lead through influence to align teams around shared growth objectives and disciplined execution.
