About the Role
Seventh Heaven Event Catering is seeking an experienced Senior Wedding & Events Sales Specialist to join their team. This role focuses on closing wedding sales and also selling corporate and social events, leveraging warm leads and building your own pipeline through various channels. The position offers significant earning potential with a competitive base and uncapped commission.
Responsibilities
- Focus on closing wedding sales, guiding couples from initial conversation through event details.
- Sell corporate and social events as a secondary revenue stream.
- Build sales pipeline through wedding shows, venue partnerships, cold outreach, referrals, and networking.
- Own sales targets and manage daily sales activities.
- Plan menus in partnership with the Executive Chef.
- Coordinate event details including rentals, beverages, staffing, and logistics.
- Represent Seventh Heaven at wedding shows, industry events, and community functions.
Requirements
- Proven success selling weddings and catering.
- Ability to connect with couples and close sales in an emotional, high-stakes environment.
- Senior-level, self-directed closer's mindset: motivated, accountable, and driven to achieve sales targets.
- Track record of working provided leads and generating new business.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort in a Mac/Apple environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Caterease or ability to learn quickly.
