About the Role

As an Advisor, Policy and Procedures, you will help shape, implement, and sustain policies and processes that support the contract rate market and the delivery of harmonized services. This is an opportunity to collaborate across the organization, influence meaningful improvements, expand your expertise, and contribute to work that positively impacts the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and sustain policies and processes that support contract rate customers and harmonized services.
  • Partner with account managers and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Connect engineering, operations, and sales teams to promote consistent interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
  • Lead policy sustainment activities, information sessions, and the development of supporting procedures and training materials.
  • Coordinate customer and employee communications, including newsletters, meeting materials, publication schedules, and assigned website content.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and serve as a key resource for policy- and process-related questions.
  • Investigate and help resolve technical and/or operational issues that arise from time-to-time due to changes in policies and procedures by working with teams across operations, engineering, construction, and capacity planning.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least four years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements and supporting organizational change.
  • Sound analytical and critical-thinking skills to investigate issues, evaluate information, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Working experience using Power BI and Copilot.
  • Experience supporting contract customers or working within a utility or government environment is considered an asset.
  • Experience in gas management services, gas supply, capacity planning, policy and procedure development, or project management is an asset.
  • A project management professional designation would also be an advantage.
  • Final candidates may be required to undergo a security screening, including a criminal records check.
