About the Role
This role is part of a central team with a key role in PepsiCo's internal reporting, including monthly and periodic close procedures. You will collaborate with other teams and functions, identify and implement process improvements, and leverage technology to have a positive impact.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Corporate Consolidation journal entries impacting the balance sheet, income statement and taxes.
- Prepare inter/intracompany balance sheet eliminations, including analysis and review.
- Assist sectors with inter/intracompany matching of transactions, and review explanations for differences above defined thresholds.
- Prepare quarterly and annual disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K reporting, including Statement of Other Comprehensive Income and Accumulated Other Comprehensive Income/Loss disclosures, useful life of PP&E and long-lived assets.
- Perform quarterly and annual balance sheet analysis and coordinate with each division to resolve unusual balances or variances.
- Analyze, review, and eliminate intercompany investment activity.
- Review joint venture information submitted by sectors for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage joint venture database by making updates as needed and maintaining access control list for the database.
- Manage Hyperion Financial Data Management (FDM) load processes for balance sheet, treasury and intercompany data.
- Prepare financial reports for the Treasury team, including topside analysis for amounts booked to cash accounts.
- Independently work on various ad hoc reporting projects.
- Communicate with division control representatives regarding internal reporting requirements, timing submission results.
- Ensure compliance with disclosure requirements for assigned areas and compare peers segment reporting and benchmark purposes.
- Perform quarterly CoStar reconciliations and resolve variances between HFM and CoStar reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
- CPA required (candidates actively working towards certification with at least two sections passed already will be considered).
- 3+ years of accounting /auditing experience.
- This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
- Public accounting experience with Big 4 firm.
- Team player with ability to work with a wide variety of business partners (Sales, Finance, AR, Control etc.).
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong systems and reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- $88,200 - $147,650
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
