About the Role

This role supports merchandise procurement through reporting, analytical, and data management. You will work with enterprise data, commodity indices, and stakeholders to provide insights into cost indices, vendor funds, and spend analytics. The position champions data quality and governance, building trusted data assets for reporting, forecasting, and vendor performance analysis. Leveraging modern analytics and AI, you will optimize sourcing decisions and enhance predictive capabilities. You will also lead the adoption of emerging AI, architect data transitions, and contribute to data architecture and self-service analytics.

Responsibilities

Provide reporting, analytical, and data management support for merchandise procurement.
Analyze cost indices and projections, vendor funds, and vendor spend.
Integrate internal and external data sources to support strategic decision-making.
Champion data quality, data integrity, and governance standards across procurement datasets.
Build trusted data assets to support reporting, forecasting, vendor performance analysis, and decision support models.
Enable more effective vendor negotiations, optimize sourcing decisions, and enhance predictive decision-making capabilities.
Lead the adoption and leveraging of emerging AI and advanced analytics technologies.
Architect and lead all EDW to iHub transition efforts.
Contribute to the development of robust data architecture, data integration frameworks, and self-service analytics capabilities.
Support Enterprise Sourcing Management (ESM) with data migration and data ETL efforts.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, marketing analytics, performance measurement, or a related field.
Expert SQL skills with experience querying, transforming, and validating large datasets.
Extensive experience building & maintaining reports, data modeling and dashboard visualization.
Expert experience of dimensional modeling concepts, fact and dimension tables and star schema design.
Expert experience developing automated data pipelines using SQL, Knime or similar technologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
