About the Role
As a Senior Sales Estimator at Automated Logic, you will architect the financial and technical foundations of smarter buildings, driving accuracy on complex projects and ensuring competitive, innovative proposals. You will mentor junior team members, optimize workflows, and bridge Sales, Engineering, and Operations to maximize win rates and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Architect detailed estimates for owner-direct and construction-based projects, covering hardware, software, and labor.
- Translate control schematics and bid documents to define project scope and eliminate risk.
- Create detailed scope letters and proposals offering value-engineered options.
- Solicit and qualify pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Partner with Sales leadership and Operations to align pricing strategies with market conditions and business objectives.
- Provide clear, accurate documentation and participate in turnover meetings for execution teams.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in Building Automation (BAS), HVAC, or Controls.
- 3+ years of direct estimating experience within the Building Automation (BAS), HVAC, or Controls industry.
