About the Role
Supports a US Navy Program by working on preliminary designs and specifications, evaluating design and performance changes, and reviewing new approaches to circuitry and power distribution or incorporation of automatic self-test methods in equipment design.
Responsibilities
- Plans, integrates, tracks, coordinates, and executes installation management activities.
- Analyzes installation and production operations and systems, providing recommendations for risk reduction strategies.
- Provides technical support for production and installation Configuration Management, including technical recommendations to track, report, and manage production, procurement, and installation activities.
- Tracks all installation changes, approvals, and associated documentation; coordinates ship-checks, site surveys, and installation schedule activities.
- Prepares installation documentation such as Justification Cost Forms (JCFs), ICDs, SHIPALT Installation Drawings (SIDs), Equipment Delivery Dates (EDDs), and Ship Change Documents (SCDs).
- Prepares shore-related products such as Standard Plans, Test Plans, Installation SOVT Reports, Base Electronic System Engineering Plans (BESEPs), Fleet Readiness Control Board (FRCB) inputs, Installation Design Plans (IDPs) and Site Survey Reports.
- Updates, maintains, and modernizes engineering documentation during the production phase as a result of the ECP process.
- Prepares, reviews, and supports test plans, test readiness review briefings, and test events.
Requirements
- Must have at least seven (7) years of experience in Systems Engineering.

Salary/Compensations
- Minimum salary starts at $140,000 and the max is negotiable based on experience
