About the Role
We’re seeking a strategic, results-driven Automotive General Manager to lead our dealership to the next level of success. In this high-impact leadership role, you’ll oversee all aspects of the dealership—from sales and service to finance and fixed operations—while building a motivated team and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Follow the daily checklist for the department
- Oversee and manage all staff within the location
- Track and report sales performance, oversee fixed operations, and property management
- Manage several customer needs at any given time
- Manage inventory levels based on seasonally demanding product lines
- Manage growth and profitability of the business
- Build relationships with customers
- Provide training for all forward positions
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and all other workplace regulations and policies
- Manage and meet all government inspections within a permitted time period
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Applicants must have a desire and passion for the automotive industry with a strong management background
- 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the industry
- Sales experience required
- Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- Must be organized, responsible, and able to abide by all relevant safety requirements
- Must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
