About the Role

The Sales Operations & Strategy Associate, Intern supports the Sales Operations & Strategy team with reporting, analysis, operational coordination, and process improvement initiatives. The intern will work with the team and cross-functional partners to maintain accurate information, prepare business insights, coordinate recurring deliverables, and improve how work is tracked, documented, and completed. The role also supports the responsible use of approved artificial intelligence, automation, and digital tools to improve recurring activities, with all outputs reviewed for accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and appropriate business use.

Responsibilities

  • Support recurring Sales Operations activities, reporting cycles, and business reviews.
  • Maintain trackers, working files, process documentation, and other operational resources.
  • Collect and consolidate updates from Sales teams and cross-functional partners.
  • Track deliverables, owners, deadlines, risks, and outstanding decisions.
  • Assist with CRM data quality reviews, account information, and related reporting activities.
  • Support Sales events, expense tracking, and other operational activities.
  • Use Excel, Power BI, CRM platforms, and other approved tools to prepare reports and identify trends.
  • Review and organize data to support Sales planning and decision-making.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and business research.
  • Summarize findings and translate information into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, meeting materials, and leadership updates.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure reports and materials are accurate and complete.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify recurring Sales Operations processes using approved AI, automation, and digital tools.
  • Use approved AI tools to support research, analysis, summarization, documentation, and reporting.
  • Review and validate AI-generated outputs before they are used or shared.
  • Follow applicable privacy, confidentiality, information security, and responsible-use requirements.
  • Help document repeatable processes and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Support the testing, adoption, and continuous improvement of new tools and processes.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Credit, Operations, and other business partners.
  • Gather information and follow up on required inputs and deliverables.
  • Communicate progress, issues, and outstanding actions clearly and promptly.
  • Contribute to additional Sales Operations and Strategy initiatives, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university or college program in business, finance, analytics, marketing, technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to critically review AI-generated and data-based outputs for accuracy and completeness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when appropriate.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn.
