About the Role
Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. seeks a Vice President to develop and apply advanced financial analyses and models to deliver high-quality solutions including buyside and sellside advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, restructuring advisory, debt and equity capital raising services, and structured equity transactions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply advanced financial analyses and models for M&A, restructuring, capital raising, and structured equity transactions.
- Conduct financial and business due diligence, including analyzing financial statements and assessing risks.
- Utilize financial tools like Excel and SAP for modeling, reporting, and analysis.
- Support analysis of acquisition and divestiture scenarios by reviewing accounting treatment and financial statement impacts.
- Utilize quantitative and analytical frameworks including 3-statement models, merger models, sensitivity analysis, valuation, capital structure modeling, and scenario planning.
- Analyze industry structure, competitive positioning, demand drivers, and KPIs across Industrials subsectors.
- Streamline financial data collection and consolidation processes through automation and system integration.
- Execute complex cross-border transactions and reporting deliverables for multi-subsidiary businesses using enterprise reporting systems.
- Evaluate accounting policy and regulatory implications by interpreting accounting standards and assessing their impact on financial statements.
- Prepare and review memoranda and supporting materials for management decision-making.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of experience developing and operating advanced financial models for M&A integration and consolidation transactions within the Industrials sector.
- Experience with cross-border business operations and capital structure impacts.
- Experience conducting financial and business due diligence.
- Experience utilizing financial tools including Excel and SAP.
- Experience analyzing accounting treatment and financial statement impacts for M&A and divestitures.
- Experience with quantitative and analytical frameworks including 3-statement models, merger models, sensitivity analysis, valuation, capital structure modeling, and scenario planning.
- Experience analyzing industry structure, competitive positioning, end-market demand drivers, and key financial and operational KPIs across Industrials subsectors.
- Experience streamlining financial data collection and consolidation processes through automation and system integration.
- Experience executing complex cross-border transactions and reporting deliverables for multi-subsidiary businesses using enterprise reporting systems.
- Experience evaluating accounting policy and regulatory implications by interpreting accounting standards and assessing their impact on financial statements.
