About the Role
The Security Ambassador role is responsible for offering a welcoming experience upon a guest’s arrival and providing exceptional guest service while completing assigned duties. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming experience for guest arrival and offer exceptional guest service during any assigned duties.
- May be assigned to indoor or outdoor positions/assignments throughout SGC property at the discretion of Security Management.
- Successfully complete CPR/First Aid Training Course and any other training required by Security Management.
- Report any violations, acts, or situations detrimental to the best interest of the Seneca Gaming Corporation to the Security Management Team.
- Assist in internal or external investigations conducted by the Seneca Gaming Corporation, Seneca Gaming Authority, or authorized local authorities in a non-Gaming capacity.
- Possess good communication skills and be able to resolve or de-escalate conflicts in Non-Gaming areas.
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding internal functions of the Security Department and any other confidential information.
- Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security, including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy.
- Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers, and staff.
- Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Complete all required SGC Training programs within nine months of employment.
- Attend all necessary meetings.
- Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations are subject to change as needed.
- Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- Must have good observation skills.
- Must have good writing and spelling skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
- Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers.
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all Non-Gaming areas of the casino.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, noisy casino environment and effectively deal with guests, management, and employees in all situations.
- In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.

- Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
