About the Role
Maxime’s, a new private members club opening in March 2025, seeks a Pizza Chef to develop and execute Roman style pizza using high hydration, direct fermentation dough in an electric oven. The role involves working with premium ingredients and assisting in other kitchen sections as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Roman style pizza
- Assist in other sections of the kitchen when necessary
- Work with thoughtfully sourced produce
- Deliver exceptional culinary experiences daily
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef in fine dining, Michelin, or luxury hospitality
- Strong culinary techniques with a passion for quality and precision
- Proficient in preparation of dough, toppings, and sauce
- Ability to make pizza consistently and efficiently (stretching dough, portion control, even crust)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- A positive, professional attitude and a true team player mentality
- Regular standing, walking, and occasional lifting as part of normal restaurant operations
