About the Role
We are seeking Shuttle Drivers to provide shuttle services for Marist University in Poughkeepsie, NY. This part-time position involves driving during specific hours and events, with opportunities for additional charter and overtime work in surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Greet patrons politely and assist them.
- Safely shuttle customers to various destinations.
- Open and close doors for patrons.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and signs for safe shuttle operation.
- Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers via radio and in person.
- Complete required pre-trip inspections to meet safety requirements.
- Record passenger counts and trip times.
- Complete necessary paperwork for daily operations.
- Assist in equipment setup and breakdown.
- Maintain shuttle cleanliness by sweeping and removing debris.
- Fill in as a lot attendant when needed.
- Communicate mechanical problems with shuttles to management.
- Comply with company procedures for shuttle operations.
- Operate wheelchair lift and secure chairs with tie-downs as needed.
Requirements
- Must be over 20 years of age.
- Customer service experience is a must.
- Background checks, SORI checks, drug tests, and driving tests will be conducted.

- We provide shuttle services for Marist University.
- The vehicles are newer walk-on 25-passenger shuttles with wheelchair lifts that are cleaned and maintained regularly.
