About the Role
PR Consulting is seeking a talented Assistant for its Lifestyle department, which supports top-tier hospitality, culinary, design, and CPG clients. This role is based in New York and reports to the department's Managers, contributing to client excellence and managing various communication and organizational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key team member for lifestyle and culinary brands, facilitating client output excellence.
- Collaborate with staff across all levels on daily and long-term needs, reporting to Director and Manager level.
- Manage sample trafficking, including logistics and press requests.
- Maintain accurate records and organization for sample requests and seeding.
- Manage client digital assets, creating and organizing them for press outreach and pitching.
- Monitor and circulate press coverage.
- Compile and execute reports for clients, including weeklies, monthlies, seedings, special projects, and event recaps.
- Support the development of influencer target lists for press initiatives.
- Maintain, organize, and update existing media lists.
- Assist with event organization, logistics, and on-site responsibilities.
- Monitor the media landscape daily, including breaking news, social media trends, newsletters, and industry developments, and proactively report on relevant opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous internship experience required.
- Ability to work onsite at our offices in the Financial District, New York from 9:30a - 6:00p plus client events as needed.
- Understanding of influencers, media and appropriate brand targets.
- Interest in hospitality, culinary and design.
- Deeply tapped into digital culture, social media trends, and the evolving media landscape.
