About the Role
The Project Coordinator will be an integral member of our engineering team, expected to work collaboratively with our technical and administrative teams, support ongoing and new project initiatives, and become instrumental in helping produce consistent quality products. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the team deliver high-quality work products on schedule, identify and solve recurring challenges, and contribute a strategic and forward-thinking mindset that helps set WSP apart from our competitors.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering teams in the planning, execution, and closeout of projects
- Maintain project logs, trackers, and status reports
- Monitor project status and assist with schedule updates
- Assist in identifying project risks, bottlenecks, and recurring issues
- Prepare meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up with team members on outstanding commitments
- Manage document control activities including transmittals, requests for information, tracking incoming and outgoing documents, and maintaining project filing systems
- Provide editorial review of deliverables as a part of quality control
- Maintain accurate project records
- Coordinate information between internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
- Coordinate client deliverables and communications through various applications as directed by project leadership (i.e. SharePoint, Procore, ProjectSight, etc.)
- Directly communicate with clients regarding projects
- Support and maintain company project tracking systems, databases, and collaboration tools
- Identify and participate in opportunities to improve department processes and standards
- Support implementation of department procedures and best practices and help maintain consistency across projects
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-education experience in related job capacity.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of applications, (i.e. Word, Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a structure of established procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
