About the Role
Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) are the first point of contact for patients, family members, and caregivers, representing Franciscan Physician Network to provide information, direction, and support. This role collaborates with providers, management, and clinical staff to coordinate patient schedules and offer administrative support, including discussing patient financial responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries
- Schedule appointments and direct calls to appropriate staff
- Work within an electronic medical records system
- Collect patient payments, apply payments and adjustments to patient accounts
- Balance daily encounter forms and cash drawers
- Perform additional daily administrative tasks based on practice specialty
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1 year of Customer Service experience required
- 1 year of Healthcare experience preferred

- Compassionately engage in conversation with patients regarding financial responsibilities
