About the Role
The Financial Services Specialist/Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for Union College’s corporate credit cards, including auditing expense reports, managing timeliness of approvals, and handling card orders, expirations, and suspensions. This position also assists the Financial Services team with supplier invoice audits, creation, and statement reconciliations.
Responsibilities
- Auditing expense reports
- Efficiently managing the creation and approval of expense reports
- Ordering new corporate credit cards as needed
- Dispositioning expired credit cards as needed
- Suspending credit cards as needed
- Auditing supplier invoices
- Creating supplier invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience required.
- A combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience will be considered.
- Experience with Corporate Card management preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with Colleague, Workday, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Gmail
