About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced AV Integration Installer to oversee and coordinate the installation of AV equipment hardware and low voltage electrical systems. This hands-on role requires strong technical knowledge and effective team leadership, with familiarity in Crestron, Extron, and Biamp products, and experience in educational and corporate settings.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain audio and video hardware systems, including servers, routers, and switches.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
- Provide support throughout the installation process.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure installations meet industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as electrical and tech support teams, to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Provide field service support as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and low voltage equipment to complete installations.
- Complete AV maintenance requests individually and as a team.
Requirements
- 3-5 Years of AV Integration & Maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of computer, audio, visual hardware systems and components
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Technical knowledge to effectively install equipment
- Electrical knowledge to handle low voltage wiring and connections
- Ability to lead a team and delegate tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during installation
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate and precise work
