About the Role
As VP Brand Management, you will lead Authentic Brands Group's expansion efforts for Lifestyle brands, reporting to the Executive Vice President. This critical role involves executing strategies to increase brand presence, managing P&L, driving business development, and overseeing licensee performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead Business Development initiatives with existing partners.
- Manage multiple business and licensing initiatives simultaneously.
- Act as a key steward of the brand, supporting overall brand direction and growth.
- Implement and communicate brand guidelines to ensure licensee compliance.
- Maintain brand integrity across all licensed product categories.
- Explore and develop new licensing and business opportunities.
- Lead and execute renewals with existing licensees.
- Oversee the continuous improvement and development of licensees.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with licensees and partners.
- Develop compelling presentations, business plans, and strategic proposals.
- Utilize business and market analytics to evaluate opportunities and monitor performance.
- Manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion licensing and/or fashion licensing management.
- Proven track record and strong professional experience in fashion and brand management.
- Demonstrated understanding of how licensing opportunities are identified, structured, negotiated, and executed.
- Proven experience securing, negotiating, and managing licensing agreements across a variety of product categories.
- Strong understanding of brand positioning, product development, and the licensed product lifecycle.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop compelling presentations, business plans, and strategic proposals.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated with a relentless drive to achieve results.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational, project management, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree required.
