About the Role
As a Groundskeeper, you will play a critical part in maintaining an ACC student housing community by enhancing and maintaining the property's curb appeal through interior and exterior groundskeeping. ACC offers opportunities for career growth, new certifications, and on-the-job training.
Responsibilities
- Maintain buildings and grounds, including common areas and amenities.
- Clean the interior and exterior of the property to standard.
- Perform property groundskeeping, including trash collection.
- Vacuum, mop, and/or shampoo floors in resident rooms and common areas.
- Stock bathrooms.
- Assist the service team with work orders, moving furniture, and unloading/storing supplies.
- Support the service team with apartment make-ready duties, including trash outs, cleaning, and painting.
- Assist in the property turnover process.
- Support the service team with pool maintenance and pressure washing.
- Safely operate all facility equipment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Maintain clean and orderly shops, storage areas, and back-of-house environments, ensuring all tools and supplies are organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Ability to drive a golf cart.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to understand and follow MSDS rules for handling and use of any chemicals.
- Ability to understand and carry out written or verbal multi-step instructions.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
