About the Role
TriNet is seeking a highly experienced and driven Staff Business Systems Analyst with 8+ years of expertise in Oracle applications, specializing in Oracle Fusion HCM functional roles. This role acts as the vital bridge between business stakeholders and technical engineering teams, leading the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of the Oracle Fusion HCM environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support multi-module, end-to-end Oracle Fusion HCM implementations from initial discovery through post-go-live stabilization.
- Perform hands-on configuration of functional modules to match business requirements.
- Conduct business process workshops, gather detailed requirements, perform gap analysis, and document functional specifications.
- Translate complex business needs into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions adhering to industry best practices.
- Recommend out-of-the-box product features over complex custom code where possible.
- Design and execute functional test plans, unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyze ongoing optimization requests and system issues.
- Handle escalation paths with Oracle Support to resolve platform bugs or manage quarterly release cycles.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience as an Oracle Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant.
- Successfully completed at least 2 full-lifecycle, end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementation projects.
- Deep functional understanding of cross-functional workflows in at least 2 or 3 of the primary pillars of Human Capital Management (e.g., Core HR, Performance Management, Payroll, Helpdesk, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation).
- Exceptional skills in requirement elicitation, flowcharting, functional document generation, and test case creation.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical or functional solutions confidently to cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
