About the Role
Vista Equity Partners’ Associate position provides immersive training and hands-on experience to develop valuation, due diligence, and deal execution skills, alongside portfolio company management best practices. Associates will learn how a sector-specific private equity investor identifies, evaluates, and executes new opportunities, while gaining c-suite business acumen and operational improvement skills. The program is a 2-3 year commitment, with a focus on building a long-term career within Vista.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and execute investment opportunities in the technology industry, including platform and add-on investments.
- Conduct due diligence and develop detailed operating and financial models.
- Develop investment theses to target new investment opportunities.
- Work closely with Board Members and Vista Consulting Group to implement operational best practices.
- Analyze and help execute potential exit opportunities.
Requirements
