About the Role
Fooda is seeking a part-time Event Coordinator in Buffalo, NY to support onsite food programs. This role involves setting up, troubleshooting, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience while working with local restaurants and Fooda's technology.
Responsibilities
- Support Fooda events by setting up, tearing down, cleaning equipment, and ensuring high-quality setup and customer experience.
- Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures.
- Problem-solve issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication.
- Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues directly with the consumer.
- Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality.
- Escalate issues to the Operations Manager when necessary.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday for lunch and dinner programs.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Resourceful with grace under pressure.
- Strong communicator and self-starter.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Familiar with the local territory and efficient navigation.
