About the Role
Hudson Valley Community College seeks experienced, dynamic, capable, creative, and caring individuals to join our Faculty team. Teaching assignments may include weekend, evening, and online. Applicants must hold unrestricted employment authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction in economics courses at the 100 and 200 level.
- Teach in other department areas as needed.
- Evaluate student performance and complete assessments as required by the College.
- Participate in departmental, division wide, and/or college wide initiatives.
- Perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract at the direction of the Department Chairperson.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in economics or closely related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Previous college teaching experience.
- Ability to teach on campus classes.
- Must currently hold an unrestricted employment authorization to work in the United States.
- Appointment will be contingent upon completion of a background check.
Skills
- Experience teaching online, hybrid, and in person classes.
- Experience teaching macroeconomics and microeconomics.
