About the Role
Bob Johnson GM, Inc. is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician for its Chevrolet and GMC service department in LeRoy, NY. This role focuses on advanced diagnostics, electrical concerns, drivability issues, and complex mechanical repairs. GM experience and certifications are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Handle advanced diagnostics
- Address electrical concerns
- Resolve drivability issues
- Perform engine and transmission repairs
- Conduct complex mechanical work
- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle concerns
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of workmanship
- Work independently and manage a full workload
Requirements
- Several years of professional automotive repair experience
- GM dealership experience strongly preferred
- Strong diagnostic and electrical skills
- Experience with engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Valid NYS driver's license
