About the Role
JLL empowers its people to shape a brighter way forward in real estate by combining world-class services, advisory, and technology. This Event Assistant role provides day-to-day support to ensure the smooth running of events services and delivers exceptional customer experience, working collaboratively with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Support all events by working collaboratively with the Client events team and Facilities team.
- Perform event room setups, coordinating with external contractors.
- Conduct quality audits of event spaces.
- Support Events, Mailroom, Facilities, and Moves, Adds and Changes (MAC) as needed.
- Assist with the coordination and booking for internal events.
- Carry out daily quality audits of all event spaces, furniture, and equipment.
- Collaborate with event hosts before, during, and after events to solve problems and resolve spontaneous situations.
- Ensure preventative and reactive tasks are completed within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframe.
- Provide appropriate and timely follow-ups to colleagues and customers via various communication channels.
- Work in accordance with health and safety measures and promote best practice.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexible scheduling for early morning and evening event support, including weekends as required.
- 1-3 years of experience in event planning, project management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Direct experience or strong interest in facilities management and customer service.
- Familiarity with computer equipment and programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, contractors, and customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to solve problems with professionalism and a service-focused approach.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work according to event requirements, including evenings and weekends.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
