About the Role
AMC Global Media is seeking a Director, Agentic Automation to join their Business Intelligence team. This role involves designing and implementing agentic automation solutions, defining enterprise architectures, and ensuring the governance, reliability, and scalability of these systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement agentic automation solutions using Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop), Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry + Playwright, and Python.
- Build production-grade agents capable of ingesting structured and semi-structured data, reasoning over incomplete inputs using LLMs, and executing actions in complex web UIs.
- Verify automation success using OCR, screenshot validation, and state-based confirmation.
- Prototype last-mile automations for scenarios where APIs are unavailable and human work is dominant.
- Define the enterprise reference architecture for computer-use agents, including selection criteria for tools and agent types (attended, unattended, serverless).
- Establish repeatable patterns for agentic workflows, such as Trigger → Reason → Act → Verify → Recover loops and exception escalation.
- Translate business processes into agent-first operating models.
- Own standards for agent reliability, recovery behavior, credential handling, and change management.
- Partner with Security, Risk, and Compliance to ensure agents operate within approved boundaries.
- Implement monitoring via Power Platform CoE and outcome-based metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related technical field OR equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in agentic workflows and defining enterprise implementation strategies.
- Deep, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate Cloud, Power Automate Desktop, AI Builder, Copilot Studio).
- Proven experience automating web-based, non-API systems.
- Strong understanding of LLM reasoning patterns, prompt engineering for decision-making, UI brittleness, selector strategies, and verification loops.
- Experience running automations on Azure VMs or cloud-hosted machine groups.
