Responsibilities
- Responsible for reading, understanding, and following assembly processes.
- Assist in the setup of test equipment, leak tester and/or tensile tester.
- Leak test cuffs and run other tests as required.
- Perform routine assembly operations, including soldering, using RTVS (room temperature vulcanization silicone), and epoxies.
- Fold, label, and box product.
- Use measurement equipment or learn to use it.
- Keep records.
- Train and work with a diverse group of people and maintain a positive attitude.
- Lift 40lbs while utilizing proper lifting techniques.
- Work in various positions: standing, sitting and work on repetitive jobs.
- Consistently meet all productivity and quality requirements.
- Be self-motivated and require little supervision.
- Demonstrate good judgment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize accordingly.
- Work overtime, as needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalency is required.
- 1 year (minimum) of successful experience in assembly/related functional area is required.
- Good mechanical dexterity/eyesight.
- Able to read, write and use basic math.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks.
- Able to adapt to a changing work environment, including increased automation, change in production methods or sequences and rotation among workstations.
- Able to work well with others and actively participate in team problem-solving activities.
- Near-distance visual acuity of 20/25 (natural or corrected).
- Ability to differentiate between colors.
- Able to lift 40lbs.
- Able to work in various positions: standing, sitting, and working on repetitive jobs/assemblies.
