About the Role
The Valet/Bellperson provides exceptional guest service by assisting with luggage, greeting guests, and delivering services to enhance the guest experience. This role ensures guests feel welcomed and supported, while also safely parking guest cars.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Assist guests with luggage, guiding them to their rooms and providing any needed assistance.
- Deliver and retrieve guest items promptly and efficiently.
- Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Escort guests to their rooms, explaining room features and hotel amenities.
- Assist with parking and retrieving guest vehicles as required.
- Handle guest requests for additional services, such as arranging transportation or providing recommendations.
- Maintain a neat and organized bell desk, ensuring necessary equipment is readily available.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management if necessary.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage at the hotel entrance or transportation area.
- Ensure that guests' personal belongings are treated with care and security.
- Assist with special guest needs, such as arranging for wake-up calls or coordinating room service requests.
- Provide support to the concierge team as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, helpful, and professional attitude.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to a certain weight limit).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no recent traffic offenses.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission.
