About the Role

BoxDash Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner seeking dedicated individuals to deliver packages and smiles to the Mid Hudson Valley. As a delivery driver, you will be the face of our company, consistently exceeding customer expectations by ensuring timely, safe, and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and walking up/down stairs and through driveways in all weather conditions.
• Deliver packages safely and punctually.
• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.
• Solve in-the-moment problems using critical thinking skills.
• Strive to have a positive can-do attitude.
• Operate a cellular device for GPS, inspecting work vehicles, tracking driving behaviors, scanning packages, taking pictures of packages at their delivery location, calling customers regarding their deliveries, and communicating with supervisors and team members.
• Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.

Requirements

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Have a valid Drivers License (CDL is not required).
• Consent to a drug test and background check.
• Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less.
• Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and / or stretch throughout a 10 hour shift.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and move packages up to 50 pounds.
• Appropriately handle stressful driving demands including inclement weather conditions and other on-the-road stresses.
• Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible with work schedule including working weekends, evenings, and holidays.
