About the Role
Lead children in fun and educational soccer and sports activities while ensuring safety. This role is ideal for individuals interested in early childhood education or child development, offering on-the-job training, a flexible schedule, and incentive programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead children in fun and educational activities.
- Ensure safety for all participants.
- Use individual attention to ensure every child has success.
- Use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress-free environment.
- Use positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate success.
- Attend regular trainings.
- Follow the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.
- Manage groups of children and adults.
- Follow the Super Soccer Stars curriculum.
- Tailor lessons to specific developmental levels.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader).
- Experience working with children 5 years and under.
- Expressive, charismatic, and nurturing personality.
- Responsible, reliable, punctual, dedicated, and confident individuals.
- High energy.
- Ability to follow Super Soccer Stars curriculum.
- Must be available on weekdays between 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Must be available at least one weekend morning from 8:30 AM–2:00 PM.
- Punctual, willing to learn and accept feedback.
- Must be motivated, energetic, patient, and attentive.
- Hands-on, dynamic, and outgoing.
- Must have reliable means of transportation.
- Access to a vehicle preferred.
- Open-minded.
- Open to feedback.
