About the Role
Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Weekend Track Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing care and staffing for the 7p-7:30am shift in a nationally ranked facility. This role offers a supportive environment and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a problem solver, planner, clinical and administrative resource, organizer, and liaison to the medical staff.
- Manage orientation, personnel, rehabilitation nursing techniques, staffing, clinical nursing skills, nursing process, in-service and continuing education, staff competencies, information technology and systems, resource allocation/utilization, and environment.
- Maintain clinical competence and plan patient care utilizing the nursing process, rehabilitation principles and standards, appropriate resources and hospital policies/procedures.
- Spend 50% of the time in direct staff supervision and 50% in administrative duties.
Requirements
- New York State RN License.
- Bachelors' Degree in Nursing Required.
- Minimum of 1+ years of RN Management/Supervisor experience.
- At least 1 year RN experience in an acute inpatient setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage a team.
- Effective communication skills.
