About the Role
Join the Data & Digital team at the Wellcome Trust, a global charitable foundation. You will unlock the value of data and enable evidence-based decision-making by delivering analytical products, insights, dashboards, models, and AI-enabled solutions. This role supports strategic priorities and fosters innovation in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects within workstreams and/or pieces of work within products.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor other team members.
- Drive innovation, learning, and improvement within the team.
- Develop dashboards, models, datasets, and AI-enabled analytical solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to define requirements.
- Build user-friendly data products, including analysis, models, AI solutions, dashboards, datasets, and infrastructure.
- Clearly communicate work and deliver robust insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Significant experience in analytics, working with large and complex datasets.
- Experience using a range of analytical and AI technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, R, Excel, GitHub Copilot).
- Strong data acumen, including understanding of data structures, business data models, data quality, governance, and interpretation.
- Ability to translate data into meaningful business context.
- Proven project management skills, delivering analytical projects across the full lifecycle.
- Effective stakeholder management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
- Ability to present complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to influence decision-making and improve data literacy.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to drive impact and identify opportunities for organizational improvement.
